You didnt name a single person that i would be suprised nerdy teenage girls love. I definitely listened to that album last night. And I must be in lala land like that other poster said. Because everything you said about Empire music is what i think about Doechis album.
Overly proccessed/produced to have such lackluster bars. It wants to be "real rap" so bad but the lyrics are lacking. It sounds like somebody outside the culture doing an impression of what they think "real hiphop" is. Not a real hiphop fan who sat down and drew an album from within. This music is pop/hipop. Calling this music "real hiphop" is like calling that chinese KPop "real rnb".
