Does anybody else feel really uncomfortable around other people's children?

yep it does get weird when strangers l kids speak to me...while i got a soft spot for the babies and don't want to seem rude or mean by not speaking back the awkwardness of the situation often leads me to either ignore them, throw up a peace sign or a head nod and keep it moving
...one situation was especially weird when one of my neighbor's lil son would called me daddy infront of his mom and i assume step dad a couple times while i was leaving my house
..i kinda of pretended i didn't hear him or know that he was referring to me and kept about my business...
maybe they notice my fatherly nature but the kids seem to be attracted to me..more recently on my way to CBS a lil breh ran up to me in the middle of street saying hello
..i'm thinking to myself this lil nikka lucky i'm not on no Sandusky shyt and where are his parents but spoke back and continued on my route.
then again i supposed that's better the couple of times snot noses have reacted to me unprovokingly like i was a Chestor
..i'm still kinda irked by the time i was walking in this white neighborhood by the Y and these lil hood boogers looked back at me and started running
..i'm still confused especially consideringnothing about me suggest pedo urges and i've seen similar looking hood kids blindly trusting and all up in creepy looking cac's face

You aren't alone. I have no intent but don't want any confusion either. I definitely stay clear of little girls that I don't know.Other than my baby cousins, being around kids, even ones I'm related to it just weird.
They be runnin up to you and you don't know how to react so you just be lookin at their parents like
They're child is playing around and doing stuff but you don't wanna seem creepy looking at their child.
It's just extremely weird to me

I usually stay away because people won't shut up about dumb stuff. If I'm holding a baby and he/she goes to sleep in my arms it turns into oooohhhhh that's so cute, he's a natural, when are you going to have a baby? F outta my face man and take this damn baby away from me. Now I just avoid them, except my niece. That's my ace.
