I can't help it. I think I look good in em. Women tell me im sexy. yea one or two hav tried to semi-clown me about it but i laugh with em bcuz we both kno it doesnt effect their moisture:youngsabo:

Use up maybe half a can of starch on one pair when I have time. Never get em done at the cleaners bcuz there's a particular art form to it. Plus it's therapeutic, like meditating almost. I kno it's old school and arguably played out but hey, the bytches ain complainin so fukk it.

My shyt don't be this ridiculous but I see where they were trying to go with it. It's a skill brehs

I usually just buy em and wear em. I don't wash em either. It helps to preserve the life of the denim.

I wear japanese selvedges now cause of the stiff denim and I just put them in the freezer overnight to help maintain their structure while they wear naturally.

I try to just make sure I buy a pair of jeans that I can have for 2-4 years.

I ain't f*cking with you breh. It's what I've been on for the past 6-7 years but it's hard to find a good pair from a good brand in my opinion that keeps it thorough and has the right oz of selvedge. The selvedge refers to the process and construction of the denim where a specific weight of denim is uses (12oz to 48oz....12oz are flimsy and 48oz are the highest they go...Naked and Famous makes a pair and you can stand them up on their own LOL).

I have Uniqlo selvedges on that I copped from the 34th street store a couple of days ago. Sure, they are made in China, but the denim itself is imported from Japan. And they were 49.90. That's pretty cheap cause most of them run for at least $100-$150. And thats not even the major brands...there are brands like Self-Edge where the jeans are constructed by hand and run $200 minimum or upwards of $750.

Basically you'll pay a good amount of money, but it's more like an investment than just another piece of clothing that you can have for years to come.

Yea I might hav to jump on that. Always hated flimsy loose denim. Jeans I own that were gifts (shyt I didn't buy) that Im foreced to wear bcuz of a late laundry week, if they're some flimsy denim that shyt fukks up my whole mood wearin em, I don't giv a fukk how much they cost or the name brand I prefer the stiff look and feel

Honestly, unless its a minor stain that can be removed with some cold water and salt, I'll just let it ride. Sometimes (in a weird way) stains and dirt on the jeans can add some personality and depth to the denim that can never be matched by a machine manufactured wash. I used to do this with jeans all the time, I would just go through hell with them, but take minor care to make sure they didn't stink (like spraying febreeze on the insides of the denim)

I don't even mind the bleed on shoes either. sometimes the denim will bleed onto my white ts and sneakers, but I clean those too. I usually roll the cuffs of my jeans and buy straight leg fitteds in my size so really I'm not dragging my jeans on the heels of my shoes against the floor either (this happened to me back in the day alot especially in the 90s/early to mid 00s baggy jean era).

Can't do cuffs breh:whoa: Especially with the way I press, rolled cuffs would fukk up the crease. Only thing I'm rolling is sleeves. Short or long. I don't agree with the stains either. If its a stain that won't come out ill either use them for work or toss em
