I usually just buy em and wear em. I don't wash em either. It helps to preserve the life of the denim.

I wear japanese selvedges now cause of the stiff denim and I just put them in the freezer overnight to help maintain their structure while they wear naturally.

I try to just make sure I buy a pair of jeans that I can have for 2-4 years.

I got a pair of Nudies that I've been wearing since last October (2012) and washed em once.

The japanese selvedge is piff though. shyt feels like Im the tin man but after a couple wears :banderas:

Got some real denim snobs up in here :ohhh:...guess I been fukkin up by washing and drying my jeans and pressing them if they have any annoying folds. Then again I'm wearing regular Levi slim cuts. Probably wouldn't be worth the effort you guys have been putting in.

i fukk heavily with raw/selvedge denim

samurai, apc, dior, LVC, RRL, etc, only the best shyt

it really does have a huge impact for the overall look. shyt holds an outfit together. my denim game skrong

have for YEARS and i couldn't imagine going about it any other way, poor fitting denim is so bad in my eyes

INVEST IN NICE JEANS PEOPLE

you spend a little up front and good pairs will last you YEARS of wear and tear and become incredible comfortable

you gotta be about that life tho

Every person has to get a pair of selvedge jeans atleast once in they life. I bought a pair of APC new standard in 2010 and they are my fave jeans. Still havent washed them yet. Only dry cleaned em once.

Levis are my favorite default jean actually. I usually go with 501s or 514s. I don't wash those easier, after the first wash and dry they pretty much are finished. The denim loses it's feel and it's not the same. It's recommended to wash jeans wash before wear with cold water and salt in a washing machine to remove excess dye, but I don't see the point in it (personal preference).

It's all what you dig in a jean and how you treat it that's reflective. A great pair of jeans makes any outfit and adds to the flair of a nice pair of kicks. IMO.

I've actually seen that video and guilty as charged, been on that for a little bit. I like this method of cuffing the jeans not just cause of the jogger effect but to make sure that my jeans don't bleed on my sneakers. As well as showing off the sneaker.
