2manyFCKNrappers
mentally i measure kilos
ive always been indifferent about his shyt

You missin outhaven't listened to him since he left no limit

I agree with the criticism that he's a one track lyricist. I would never rate him as a top tier emcee. His music just sounds very good and is very relatable and accessible, I think. That's why he has the flexibility to rap over southern, melodic pimpish type beats and do a whole album produced by the Alchemist and sound natural in both lanes...and guest rappers from Rick Ross to Mos Def and all points in between fukk with him.I've heard people say that he's a mediocre rapper, a one track lyricist and that he doesn't have a lot of energy. For what it's worth I think those are legitimate reasons not to like him. But he does his own thing, makes cohesive projects, picks great beats and rides them perfectly for the music he makes.
I've never been of the opinion that in order to make great rap music you have to be eloquent or erudite in all your observations and writing. I think of Curren$y the same way I think of ambient music, and listen to it as such. The perfect music to throw on during a long drive or some evening work.I agree with the criticism that he's a one track lyricist. I would never rate him as a top tier emcee.
