I can feel this.. I opened a studio and started managing artist and i keep telling them how stupid these other rappers are. We in this to make money not trying to be like Soldier Boy who made millions and still wants to act hard. I will never understand how people can't tell these kids they look like fools. Exactly nikkas love to forget. Waka was on fire he left by choice to pursue EDM and stopped caring about rap. Waka had a mixtape run that damn near rivaled future’s. European tours, and before Gucci was locked up he was just a weed carrier. nikkas memory clouded. No Hands was such a huge hit it even revived Wale career. Rap fans got short term memory loss.

Waka was not on fire.

Thats like saying TI put Future on cause he hopped on Magic.

The hits were already out there and the buzz was already going. If anything Gucci just hopped on a fellow ATL nikkas buzz to ride their wave. I agree with Pewee and Thug tho, Gucci played a facilitator role with those two.

Gucci was buying chunks of studio time and having nikkas come through if they showed promise. This was the case for Thug, Migos, Metro Booming, Mike Will, who've all had tremendous success

And those are just the biggest names. There are a lot more names of nikkas that did well off Gucci support
