Who actually be putting they phone in airplane mode? nikkas act like the plane gonna crash. I know for a fact it don’t matter cause I never put my phone in airplane mode.

if it was serious and could endanger people they would confiscate your phone before departure

Why wouldn't you? You can still turn on WiFi after turning on Airplane mode.

Airplane mode disables the radio signal which is what they want.
