I don't understand why all these New York rappers just keep going and ruining their legacy when they are. Dude could have bowed out gracefully awhile ago. Now he has his fans questioning everything he does, other artists mad as fukk that he being featured on their tracks, and leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
What the fukk are you doing with your career at this point? No one is anticipating his album. No one is looking forward to these features. When you get to the point where dudes are questioning whether or not you were good to begin with you need to fall back
Legacy is meaningless when you can't generate income off of it. That's what a lot of rap fans fail to comprehend. Rock legends do paid appearances & world tours off their "legacy". They can sell t-shirts and memorabilia off their legacy. But in rap, when you have a "legacy" but you aren't hot anymore, the urban audience wants you to go away. The urban audiences aren't going to buy Busta Rhymes t-shirts & dolls.
The whole concept of "falling off" only exists in hip-hop, and it has rendered many "legacies" largely meaningless.
