It is about money but nah i don't need that much to live. The problem is, right now i have nothing.
Are you making money at 36?
I am (was, in-between jobs right now, unclear situation). I don't want to say the whole "It ain't about the money", because you do have to eat, live, pay rent, etc. Make no mistake, money is good to have. Pays your travels, restaurants, books, music, concerts, etc. So you def need that. But I make a comfortable living but feel deeply unsatisfied. There's a reason a lot of rich people end up depressed, stressed out, do heavy drugs, etc. Because once you actually make money i's like you HAVE to be happy with your situation, but you can be making money doing something totally uselss ("bullshyt jobs") or something you feel finally is not your "thing". Most people I know at my job are deeply unsatisfied, have burn-outs and whatnot. One coworker commited suicided last year for partially work-related reasons. It's badly seen socially to complain about a "good job", even if that "good job" is total bullshyt.
Make no mistake, it's a "nice" problem to have. But the thing is that as humans, we have the problems of ou situation. Meaning if you don't have money then money is your problem. But once you have money, you will have OTHER problems, and you might realize that you the most important is not how much money you get, but how you get it and how much time of your life you're spending to get it. Some people are cool with getting a check, going home, being cozy and not worrying more than that (not judging, actually these people tend to be the most balanced) but others (like myself) always thinking about WHAT they're doing in life, is it satisfying, could they be doing more, making a difference, having a meanigful job...etc.
