I'm very successful, probably the most successful in my entire family, one of the most successful in my social circle

but I have college classmates that are self made millionaires at age 27/28.

senior year of college I had a group project with a white dude and an asian dude. both are millionaires

Im still close with the asian dude and he's really living life to the fullest. quit his i-banking job in 2016 to travel the world and he has no plans on ever working again. dude just turned 27:damn:

shyt like that makes me feel like im not working hard enough

this is natural...just commit to doing something everyday towards your dreams, even if just an hour...you'd be surprised at what you can accomplish in a month and then you'll feel motivated to do more...

don't rush into shyt thinking you're gonna get off to a running start immediately...just try to do a little better than yesterday...take this for example...im currently doing the 100x100 pushup challenge

proud of myself...when i started at the beginning of the month, i could barely do 10...now i'm hittin 30 a clip... :salute:

hittin more than 100 a day too...

work your way up...gettin to your goal will become easier and easier...

A little bit. A lot of my NAACP/Haraya brothers and sisters are way more accomplished than me. Some went to Grad school, some went law school, and others went and finished pharmacy school.
Its nice to see my brothers and sisters doing well career wise, but I do get depressed about it. There's this one girl named Shaquelia Montgomery from Haraya, I remember seeing her resume and went like :mjcry:, what have I been doing with my life.

That's just my college brehs and brehettes.

Most of my friends from high school have kids already. One of them already has a kid starting middle school :mjcry:. Shyts painful brehs and brehettes.

Its not too late for me to become a horrorcore rapper???

No it's not. I'm 31 and still haven't made it yet but my 20s were filled with sickness for me. From age 23 up to now my health hasn't been good. Hell gotta go back to the gastric doctor again. :mjcry:Things happen in life to throw you off and it can't be helped. I haven't worked since 2008 :mjcry:. If you got the finances to push yourself fam do it! :blessed:

I know Asian brehs like that, too. Long money from careers in i-banking, private equity, consulting, etc.

That's why I hate when nikkas try to stunt on other brothas.

Because there are men of other ethnic backgrounds that make your accomplishments look like shyt.

We need to work together as Black men to ensure our children are setup for success like the kids from some of these other ethnic groups.

I go to local community college as a part time student. I only do it to make mama happy via mood and taxes wise. I want to be a musician but I'm also trying to learn code to make an app or game that can make bank. I don't mean rich but bein a thousandaire that way is possible. Yes it's kinda selfish American dream dreamin type shyt but a 9 to 5 with student loan debt ain't living. I don't need to be rich or stunt, I just want to be free.

Sounds like you do have ideas of what you want to do, those are two quite specific areas that both offer paid positions etc. Maybe you can try to study the business and legal aspects of music and app industries, so that if the creative part doesn't work out you can still get in, and maybe build something for yourself. I don't know how the study thing works, but if you somehow "have" to go (to make your moms happy) maybe try to see what classes could be useful to you or other activities there. A lot of people I've met didn't always gain benefits from the main thing they were doing/studying, but from "side" activities, meeting people, etc.
