stay off the internet and social media and you will recover in no time. Lift, cardio, eat clean, and meditate....You're mind will sharpen up again
This is true. I deleted my Twitter today. It’s just useless. Back to zero social media except Instagram. And i only follow friends and family and one sports page and language pages so my timeline be dead asf.

A few days ago I came to the realization that I feel way "dumber" than I used to compared to ten years ago.

Back when I was in college a decade ago, my mind felt razor sharp. I could slog through dry textbooks without losing focus, I could hold a conversation without using a bunch of filler words, and my memory and information recall was on point.

It seems like now, for the past several years, my mind feels foggy, my thoughts feel jumbled, my speech often sounds stilted and unsure, and my memory feels weak -- unless I'm at work where I need to be "on".

Outside of work, I feel sluggish, lazy, and unmotivated. As a child I loved reading and would devour multiple books in a day, but now I can barely stay focused after reading two pages if I don't wind up falling asleep after 15 minutes into attempting to read a book.

After I get home from work all I feel like doing is making something to eat and zoning out to mindless bullshyt on YouTube until it's time to go to bed.

Rinse, repeat. Day by day.

This shyt's been happening with me since around 2022.

Wtf is going on? :mjcry:
What’s your diet?? That’s a most likely and usually overlooked cause of a lot of the symptoms you’re describing.

Entertainment - be it media, devices or social platforms will affect attention span/focus.

Hiatuses from these things tend to help

If you had Covid, there is your answer..

They really don’t talk about just how bad that shyt changed life

That was one of the things it causes brain fog and some people never recovered
:wow: beat me too it.

Didn’t expect anyone besides @Loose @wire28 @Gloxina to bring it up.

Society completely likes to move on like covid doesn’t have lingering effects

Gonna keep it 100. There's a percentage of members in here that are anti intellectuals that do NOT want people in here to be smart or informed. You have some big ego having motherfukkers that are stupid as hell that have pride in their ignorance and stupidity trying to act like they know everything. These are the same goofies that will NEVER admit they are wrong or fukked up on something. Think that narrows it down.

gotta be honest it was more fun when it was illegal :mjlit:

OP i agree with other posters who say youre depressed. thats what it is. nothing wrong with admitting it... not a whole lot going on in the world to be happy about lately. but you gotta find your own lil bits of happiness throughout the day

imma roll a fat blunt and take a bubble bath and watch friday on my laptop. one more day to get through then its the weekend!
