ADHD trash for dating and it can make you come off as annoying

The only reason I started looking into this is because my girl was getting on my nerves so damn bad. Every damn day I gotta start my morning off helping her look for the car keys or find her cell phone. The same loop every day man shyt was weird to me that you can’t remember where anything is just from the night before. If you don’t know about ADHD in your spouse it can come off as them being a lazy, forgetful slob so I knew there was something else going on.

another poster said he can’t focus while people are talking and he’s just waiting for them to stop so he can say something lol once I started reading other peoples experiences and they matched what I was going thru I was happy as fukk to know I figured it out.

Hey man what would make a physician prescribe a person Adderall? I really have a hard time focusing nowadays my head is all over the place without going into detail.

I got ADHD but it's mild

Knew I had since I was a kid. My mom knows my family denies it. I used to draw and doodle as a kid to keep myself occupied.

My brain is very hyperactive and focused when I'm on flow time.

I consider a superpower because I complete tasks when I'm not distracted.


Dating wise, I never told anyone. I always gave the hint "I'm not here for long"

Idk maybe cause I get bored easily or I'm craving the next big thing. For this reason, I cannot do dinner dates. I need somewhere I can move around. Like an arcade, hiking, golf, as long as we ain't sitting down.

The ADHD has slowed down. It was way worse as a teenager. I'll misplace my keys or my wallet in the same spot. Find the same spot like an hour later haha

I’ve tried several stimulants and don’t feel they’ve worked.

I do. I tried concerta finally for a few months last year but it fukked up my sleeping and eating and then I couldn't get my prescription for like 5 days over the Thanksgiving weekend and was fukked up. Left it alone after that.

I struggle with certain shyt but I'm be able to navigate through enough to be [relatively] successful but I do always wonder what life would be like if I could focus 100% of the time.

Yep! I make it work for me ..for instance,I don't even attempt to remember names anymore,I can get along easy with a "hey" "sir" or "excuse me"...only time i can and will remember a name is if say a person at work has a celebrity or character name (new tall brotha at work name is "Shaq" ,and pretty black girl with the Fat booty name is "Ariel" like the mermaid,im not gonna forget those) any other regular regular plain ass people (Jonathan and Lauren)i don't even attempt anymore. I ain't stressing myself out.



As lame as it is I have a chain on my wallet that I keep my keys attached to.. haven't (seriously)lost them bytches in a couple decades..

All my passwords are the same or slight variations of it...same Password since the beginning of time..also set Google to remember them bytches for me...
