Freestyle could just be an unheard pre-written verse. Anytime you see a video of your favorite rapper "freestyle" and think WOW, it's most likely an unheard verse. Sorry to break it to ya kids
You can detect when a freestlye is pre-written, there is more control of the voice, no pauses in their breath. Listen to your favorite rapper's freestyle, almost all are pre-written. Don't matter if it was written 5 weeks before or 5 min before, its still pre-written
Now "off the top of the dome" is like what the rapper Supernatural does. And you can tell, by the constant pauses in his breath when he's rapping, he's thinking up words as he's rapping
