Does anyone feel weird when they let their woman pay for her own stuff?

[Yesterday]

I was out with my gf and she bought some jeans, and she paid for them herself. She didn't expect me to pay, but I still felt weird about it because I felt like I should, not because it's my duty but moreso societal expectations. I usually let her pay for shyt that benefit her, and anything mutual I pay for. Like for example I went to get an oil change and she needed some windshield wipers and she paid for them. But if i suggest something for I I'll get it.

Anyone else feel weird in these situations?

Nope, don't feel weird about it all. I don't mind paying for a few things here and there, problem is when you get with one that was used to being spoiled by her ex, now she expects the same from you.

Not at all, especially if she makes her own quid. That's her money to do whatever she wants with it and I feel no way about it.

Sameway I don't want to hear her talking about me spending my money on shyt she may think is trivial like drugs, Magazines and Video games with my own.

I usually insist on paying for dates/entertainment, though. Old fashioned in that sense. Daily shyt she can cop or chip in no problem.
