I mean as a black man in America, it feels like these white mufukkas try to find reasons not to hire you or am i just imagining it? Like, if you are applying for a place that you know you are really overqualified for, do you still get blocked for no good reason? It feels like this has been my experience, trying to interview with people that i can tell i am better than and then i don't hired. I am perfectly cordial and nice and everything but these fakkits either give some bullshyt excuse in the interview or i don't get the interview to begin with. I'm about to graduate school but still, this shyt irks me to no end to have skill-less scrubs looking down on me as if they're on my level.

All the time breh. It makes me upset when I see whites I am just as skilled as in higher positions and I know it's because of their race. It makes me enraged when I'm clearly more capable and intelligent yet, some dumb white muthafukka is making 2-3x as much. I remember going on an interview once and I rocked every question. You know how you can just tell that you killed an interview? It was like that. But there was two of them and while one was impressed, the other one was trying her best to stay :ld: despite me answering all her questions perfectly. I got the email a few days later that I was a great fit and that the interview was amazing but, they went in another direction. fukk em. I'll make sure to do the same thing 20 years from now when I'm interviewing their kids. As a black man, the only way you can win in America is to bust your ass and be 3x as better as a white candidate just to get the same salary as him or start your own business and not play by their rules. If we had a massive amount of black entrepreneurs to work for it wouldn't be a problem but, we don't.

How'd you get started? How much money did you put up into your first company to get things off the ground.
My first company failed. Second started with about $2k, third started with about $800 (most successful now.)

As long as cacs own and are in high positions in these companies, a lot of black men will continue to encounter this problem. Only thing that will help it is more black owned businesses

I've been (and am still) working the same job for about 10 years now, but as of last week I jumped back in to the market. I'm using recruiters to help me find something (IT), but if it all comes up short over the course of a month or two I'll be feeling discouraged as fukk.
