I suppose I’ll be the only one to seriously reply. A bunch of cruel people here. I don’t know your situation OP but whatever it may be, I wish you peace through it. If you may have it, remember life goes on. Also know, people are in a similar situation; and they live their lives normally. Me personally I knew of two people that have it, and they were normal people living normal lives. So, don’t let it hold you back OP, continue living your life.

As for the people that commented on this thread it’s very weird when it comes to STDs people are just straight up brutally mean for no reason. Supposedly the black community is affected the worst, and clowns make fun of people going through such situations. No one wants to get an STD, no one willingly catches, an STD, so why are people so cruel to people when people find themselves affected?

I look at a person going through it same as any type of unfortunate medical situation, I treat the person with care and compassion, because who knows what’s going on with them mentally.

With all that being said, stay up OP. It’s not the end of the world.

Something like 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 American women have genital herpes. It’s common OP. I heard by eating clean, having plenty of vitamin C it can reduce outbreaks. Idk what it feels like.

Statistically most people in this thread have herpes. Meaning herpes 1. Which isnt hard to get at all. Herpes 2 which is the genitals one is less common but still prominent.
