Does anyone know what happened to Cashis and Bobby Creek? Any dope music worth checking after Shady?

It's crazy that Bobby Creek was rapping over Alchemist heat like this, and Em gets Stepdad lol...

wonder if em chose step dad or if alc suggested it

if the formal, it just cements he got a garbage ear...if it's the latter...ALC might have been :troll: or Em fukked with it too much since he has co production credits

I'd imagine Em chose it, and probably tinkered with it. I know he passed on Location Remote when Al played that for him, and also Gangster and a Gentleman way back for The Eminem Show. I was just pretty hard on Al about this trash Rapper's Best Friend Part 6 release, but I can't imagine Al would purposely try to make such a bad record with Em after suggesting fire like this.

I'm not sure if ALC clears all of his samples, so maybe Em won't touch a rare sample after what happened with Quik/Dre/Truth Hurts. Em also was frustrated about foregoing all of his publishing on My Name Is which had a sample flip. I'm guessing he gets access to a lot of the rock samples through Jimmy Iovine.

Still, ALC has a lot of fire non sampled shyt like Lullaby for Fab and Follow The Dollar for CNN

Lullaby was fire. I remember Evidence was bummed out because he planned on that using that beat for Cats & Dogs.

Canโ€™t say I ever heard that much of Cashis outside of a few tracks and his appearances on The Re-Up, but Bobby Creekwater has some great songs.

This was my shyt for a long time and still bump it.

As was this

People need to learn how the industry works and stop blaming Eminem & Dre for Shady & Aftermath successes/failures exclusively.

Too many on this board without a fukking clue.

Shady seemed like they were looking for the perfect moment to drop. Seemed like perfectionist. But he donโ€™t sound like Ti to me. Their accents are very similar. He used to be in a group called Jatis and he sounded like a 3stacks clone thenโ€ฆ it was even played on the radio and I swore it was outkast lol this was maybe 2001-2002?

That nikka creekwater went from being a 3-stacks clone to being a t.i. clone

:ohhh:

Homie was good tho, the only solo song I like off the shady records compilation was his joint.
