Does anyone on here believe in The Big Bang? (The theory, not the TV show)

I agree. This whole thread is (no offense to the OP) is a fool's errand. We don't even know what's going on in other parts of our own galaxy....and there's too many galaxies to count.

Hell, we don't even know what's going on in our own solar system. Matter of fact....we don't even know what's in half our oceans/seas around the world.

So once you start talking about billions of years ago, or the universe as a whole....shyt is good for (hopefully) intelligent discussion but beyond that, we're never going to know any of that stuff.

I'm personally agnostic but if God does exist....he's not a magician. He's a scientist. Because there is an order to the universe. So if the Big Bang did happen, God did the math to make it happen. He didn't just snap his fingers and *poof* everything appeared.

The Christian God?

Why does God need a religion? God is god, regardless of your religion.

And I've been saying this forever but God & science go hand in hand, they hardly contradict / conflict with each other. Science explains God's mechanisms and God explains the driving force behind science. Real science, like anatomy, botany, ecology, etc.

And ffs just because one (insert animal) survived because of favorable inherited genes / traits does not mean this is darwinian evolution. Stop using this as your only example. And no the timescale cop out doesnt work, if Darwinian evolution is always in motion, it has been billions of years so lots of species should be in the midst of their evolutionary changes, like going from ape to man, fish to reptile, or to even newer species that have never existed before just like evolution theory suggests.

Science is such a beautiful thing. To learn how your body functions, how an ecosystem works, botany, different terrains, even breaking everything down to their molecular levels is a mystic experience which leaves one in awe at the magnificence of our majestic creator. Have you ever wondered why nature brings you so much peace, joy and content ?

These crazy theories with no factual basis however, bring you nothing but confusion, dis-attachment & disenchantment with everything around you. if you die and rot, then you will also live rotten.

Watched a vid on the end of the universe in about trillion years to the tenth power. Scary shyt. shyt prollu keeps crunching.

I think a lot of scientific people are too into this shyt tho. They cant prove this but theyll just as easily replace any creation doctrince with their own.
