Does anyone partake in Lent?

It started today.

What y'all giving up for them 40 days?

I'm not necessarily religious. But I do partake in lent as a personal challenge to myself. To see if I can go without my addictions for a few weeks.

No ice cream

No unnecessary spending. I had really had to put my debit card in an envelope, and bury it in my closet for this one

but i normally keep what Im giving up to myself. If anyone knows it was usually a slip up during conversation or due to me having to explain why I am declining something.

yea i do. im thinking about giving up all fast food. only problem with that is on fridays since i cant eat meat. usually i get the fish sandwich from mcdonalds.
