:comeon: You'd hope the GOAT chucker shooting would be that automatic:skip:

Are you talking about Jordan?

I'm seriously asking because when yall throw around that "chucker" label at Kobe you stay overlooking the fact that to date Kobe has not surpassed Jordan on the all time FGA list despite playing more minutes, games, and seasons.

And like I always say, there's a reason the top 5 all time in points scored is nearly identical to the top 5 all time in FGA's.

No. He said Kobe has more basketball skills

So your opinion is laughable :blessed:

Is your comprehension that terrible? Did you listen to what was said? He named several things that Jordan has that Kobe did not have as far as advantage goes, while Kobe's outside shooting is "perhaps" better than Jordan. Other than that, it's Advantage Jordan

The fact that he could do anything on the basketball court was his blessing and also his curse. His skill set led to him not having any discipline on his game, which is why Jordan's shooting numbers are comparable to Kobe all though the eyeball test tells us Kobe has more of an arsenal.

And that video only covered him in the #24, Kobe in the #8 was an out of this world basketball player as well. That 1st step was vicious.:wow:

I would put Bron, Bird and Jordan above him but Kobe's polish of his overall arsenal makes him legendary.

I've been looking for a clip of this one specific Kobe play where he is bringing the ball up court and smoothly transitions to a post up and then spins and drives to to the basket in like a split second.....shyt that had me like :wow:

0:49.

:whew:

My dude had nine consecutive 40 point games that year. This was one of 'em. It was amazing to watch.

WHAT ARE U TRYNA ARGUE. THAT JORDAN HAD A THREEBALL ANYWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS KOBE'S? LMFAO...WHAT AM I DEALIN WITH HERE??

THOSE YEARS WHERE MJ WAS GOOD FROM THREE WAS WHEN THEY SHORTENED THE DISTANCE OF THE THREE POINT LINE. PRIME KOBE WITH A SHORTENED THREE POINT LINE WOULDA SCORED 100 IN A GAME, CUD

lmao

in kobe's rookie year, the 3 pt line was shortened and he shot 37.6% during the RS, his 2nd best 3pt percentage ever, lol

these are Kobe's RS numbers after they extended it

98' - 34.1%
99' - 26.7%
00' - 31.9%
01' - 30.5%
02' - 25%

in 03, he finally learned how to shoot the 3 again and shot 38.3%, and put up his best numbers ever....unfortunately McGrady put up better numbers, and might i add, without the benefit that comes from playing next to the most dominant player in the NBA

but after his breakout non-MVP season, Kobe reverted right back to being a below average 3pt shooter

04' - 32.7%
05' - 33.9%
06' - 34.7%
07' - 34.4%

between 08' and 09' Kobe averaged 4.5 Three point attempts per game and shot 36.1% and 35.1% respectively, (while shooting 46% and 47% fg overall )

but since then.........

10' - 32.9%
11' - 32.3%
12' - 30.3%
13' - 32.4%

Jordan on the other hand, didn't start shooting more than 2 threes per game until his 89'-90' season...and yes thats was with an extended three point line
and these are his averages 34pts 7rbs 6assists 53%fg 38%3pt and he lost in the Eastern Conference finals

Jordan only shot more than 2 three pointers per game only 1 other time in the extended 3 point line era

these are his numbers 33pts 7rbs 6assists 50%fg 35%3pt and he won a championship

has prime Kobe has ever came close to those production and efficiency levels??? :mjpls: while winning a championship at that?:childplease:

in fact, since Jordan, there's only been one wing has even come close, and i'll give you one guess as to who he is :troll:

and the amazing thing is, he's done it twice :ohhh:

So dominant offensively that he has a whopping ONE 50-pt game in the playoffs and ONE 40-pt game in the finals despite playing more games than MJ :ohhh:

B B But Bron doesn't have a more complete arsenal.

Bron is more efficient if you want to keep it funky and Bron has developed a post game. So in short yes Bron has a more complete arsenal than Kobe. It's just that Kobe perfected his shooting stroke over the years as the years progressed.

Jordan didn't hit the three because he didn't have to. If he worked on shooting the 3, he would have been one of the best at it.
