Just having Norv makes it possible for Teddy to be very good. They get another wr they are a team to look out for in the NFC.

Kaep is in an interesting position. If they dont find an offensive minded coach he may get thrown to the bushes if he doesnt improve.

You know how it goes. "He wasnt the guy I drafted"

He will get thrown to the bushes. If McNabb and McNair can after all they did for their teams so can kaep. I think they will get a coach and will struggle then the coach will blame the failings on the team on kaep ala Shannahan.

Hell Washington cut Doug Williams after he won the Super Bowl for them.

Cam Newton will be a god QB among men when they get Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, Antonio Brown in the slot, and Jimmy Graham for a WR. Oh he is still thin at RB, what the hell, Adrian Peterson should fill that void

And 5 Pro Bowlers on the line. You also forgot he needs Beli as a HC, Rex at DC and Chip Kelly as his OC to do ANYTHING breh. He needs MORE help breh :damn:

Cam does have better weapons than Wilson there is no denying that but Seattle's OC knows how to use their weapons effectively while Carolina's OC does not. You can have the best weapons in the NFL but if your OC does not know how to utilize them effectively then a lot of the advantages are nullified. And with that said Wilson has the best defense in the league. He really never has to know that his defense will keep him out of games.

There is one thing that we gotta acknowledge as well though. Something that no one expected when they were both coming out of college.

Russ is a better scrambler/runner than Cam.

Russ almost rushed for 900 yards this year. So he's picking up more yards down the field than Cam. He also does it without taking big hits. He also is a much better thrower on the run and is quicker to buy time to find an open wr.

Again. No one saw that coming when they were both coming out of college.

Cam is really just a pocket passer. He's better throwing from there than on the move. However, if he could ever get his footwork together he could really take his game to another level.

shula and cotchery needs to go. cam has improved his pocket presence, he just needs to work on looking at his reads faster. he tends to wait too long - if something aint there move to the next.

Yes I have always said that Russ was a better QB than Cam and he is the best QB out of all the young ones.

If you want to take it old school Cam is more like Elway and Russ is more like Montana. In saying that Montana was a west coast offense QB and Elway was a air coryal offense QB.

However Montana was better he always had better teams offensively and defensively where as Elways teams had poor OLs, poor running games and small WRs. Luckily Elways Denver teams were able to put pieces around him and get him an OC in his late 30s.

In saying all that what I mean is no matter if Russ is better it is all about a coach and GM putting pieces around a QB and placing him in a offense where he can succeed. As you know one of the biggest issues with Carolina is that they rarely give Cam easy throws. Very few screens, very few slant and most plays are long developing. Well if you have long developing plays you needs speed at WR and a OL that can pass block long enough.

It is all about coaching and weapons man. It is a reason why Denny Green can take both Randell and Culpepper to NFC Championship games (in a 3 year period) and dudes both threw for over 30 TDs before all these fukking pass happy rules.

I think most of the plays are slow developing. He was also she'll shocked. Early in the year football focus had him ranked as the best QB over a four or five game period. Dude was making accurate passes like a young Marino. Sadly he began getting beat up and wasn't the same for the rest of the year. That is the reason he wasn't stepping up and his mechanics got bad. Once a QB loses confidence in his OL he is done.

If you remember this was the biggest thing that Farve had to deal with was over his career as he got hit and as his OL deteriorated he was prone to not step up and throw more and more picks. It is just the nature of the position.

....I guess we're going to ignore the fact that his best option in a key 3rd down (which changed the game) is Mike Tolbert

Let us also not forget that mike Tolbert is his short yardage back.....yet Cam is the one who runs for short yardage and goal line situations.

Be expected to be super knee grow at QB and expected to never get hurt and pull teams to victory brehs.

No I'm on the Cam bandwagon now & I agree that Cam needs more help. It's NOT his fault ok & I get it. Get Cam 3 Pro bowl receivers, a Pro bowl TE, 5 All Pro O lineman, 2 Pro bowl RBs, a HOF Coaching Staff and he might, MIGHT be a decent QB one day.

Isn't that what Matt Ryan needs to win more than one playoff game?

I'll take Cam Newton over Matt Ryan (OC suits his strength +arguably best WR core + playing on a fukking trackfield + highest paid player.....and still can't get it done)

When is Matt Ryan going to be a good playoff QB? Time is ticking LOL.

Talking football on thecoli. :russ: Might as well have a discussion with a group of females. 75 percent of these nikkas ain't played a down in their lives and don't know shyt about the game. They argue based purely on emotion. Hence the excuses made for an average qb. Some weridos:mjlol:
