Anyway, I don't like the Melo comparison. Melo from a pure fundamentals/skill standpoint is an elite level scorer. It's moreso his style of play and shytty teams that have been detrimental.

Cam is different in that he isn't refined at all, and he is more physically gifted. I wanna like him, but he's just not very good. There's flashes of ability, but maybe this wakes him up and inspires him to put in more work.

Are you really going to argue against that? Cam is average breh. Stop making excuses because every player in the NFL has some sort of handicap. The great ones are great in spite of it.

See this is the problem with you falc*nts fans coming into this thread with your agenda. This thread is not about what Cam is right now which no one will argue is middle of the road. The thread title is, does cam have the potential to be great. If you look at what Cam has put up his rookie season and the past two years excluding this season then yes he does have the potential to be great. But I don't expect you falc*nt fans to ever agree that Cam has the potential to be great because you don't want him to be great. Tannenhill is not great, he is average too. But does he have more potential than Cam? In my opinion he doesn't. Cam made some throws against the seattle secondary that are elite and some throws that are wtf. But a better OC, receiving talents and Cam focusing on getting better at reads can alleviate a lot of that.


Peyton Manning wasn't great in his first 6-7 years in the league either, let the man evolve and learn his position better instead of trying to label him as a failure or perennially average just 4 years into his season.

First of all me and @Peter Vecsey have been going back and forth since last night. Check out the panthers vs seahawk game thread. When I called cam average or middle of the road as you just said, dude called me a cac and a hater. I have personal issue with that because facts are facts. I don't even think Cam himself would disagree but I think his potential is top 10 top 5 eventually. He has just has to put it together.
