I cant even imagine that...How did you get past it? I don't think i'd be able to function in life with out my mom or (step)dad :(

Its 6 years later and I honestly dont think I have gotten all the way over it. I buried my shyt tho (barely cried etc...). Just make sure to properly grieve and reach out to people that reach out to you and you will handle way better then I did.

Ill tell you this. You will see your families true true colors .

I neither fear it nor think about it much anymore. I kept asking myself was I afraid of what it was before I was born? Just that thought alone put things in perspective to me. Plus life experiences, seeing people die, having children born, this whole ying and yang thing. The fact that the iron in our blood, the air we breathe, the calcium in our bones is the remnants of some star that went supernova billions of years ago. Death created us, this world, this planet, this solar system. There's something comforting to that..well for me at least..

In regards to myself? not really...However I dread the day that I get the phone call about my mom or dad

I'm just now getting over my pops' death tbh and he's been dead since '07.

My only fear is that some random shyt will take me out the game and leave my wife and (not yet) kids up shyts creek, so I'm building for them right now...

I only fear what it will do to those who love me. I saw the affect my sister and niece's death had on my entire family, it's partly the reason why I never want to have children. When my Mom found out she let out a scream I can't even describe it was so heartbreaking. Even to this day that scream still haunts me.

Lost a bunch of people in the last year... I've accepted it. It helped me get over a lot of insecurities. None of this matters. Less than maybe 200 of us will be remembered after we go. Do everything you're trying to do. Say everything that needs to be said. Don't let regret imprison what little life you have.

Life is awesome, we need to pause to enjoy it and quit worrying so much about feelings, money, etc. Just relish in the fact you have all these kickass senses, you have good people that make you laugh, love you etc. It's all we have.
