He has some great songs, some of which I have played a lot since they come out, but I wonder whether I will in 5 or 10 years time.

Off the top of my head, I think maybe Started From the Bottom (because of it's simplicity) and Lord Knows might stand the test of time. Can't see any of his other hits doing the same.

Drake will never go down as a legend. Period.

To be a legend...you have to make REAL classics. Songs that touch people's lives. Make statements. Convey emotions.

Drake has NONE of this. His music is as shallow as a kiddie pool. Drake as a personality is soft and safe. He doesn't do anything that grabs people's attention. He doesn't make a statement in anything he does. He stands for a generation that doesn't know what they stand for.

He makes party music and relationship music. That's it.

Somebody on tumblr seriously asked if Drake was on the same level as PAC...HELL NO!

i beg to differ see cuz u gotta understand that Drake's scope of subject matter for the most part covers the importance of family, struggles/highs and lows of success, struggles with women, etc.....these topics are universal no matter where uat and Drake relays these messages in a way that get u thinking about the aspects we overlook
