just curious. I find when I do drink coffee (rarely), I have more energy and I'm not hungry any-more. I'm going to experiment by drinking 3 cups a day.

Get ready for your tolerance to build. Pretty soon you'll need 6. I went from being stimmed out of my mind from 1 coffee, to needing caffeine every morning just so I'm not in a sh1tty mood.

I need a break from stimulated pre-workouts..sh1t is addicting though. Caffeine withdrawal symptoms are crazy too..start questioning life, lol.

Got to taper it down like the fade on my head

I'd say so. I started drinking coffee after my son was born last year and I definitely felt less hungry.

:ehh:

3 cups a day

I used coffee to transition into IF. I replaced breakfast w/1 cup and then eventually weaned myself off to nothing. I think it's fine. My only thing is you begin to build a tolerance/dependency for it, and in my case it started to fukk with my sleep quality. But I would def use it for a cut. Safest stim out there.

Coffee wont help you lose noticable weight if you arent eating clean and working out too. You may lose a few pounds of water weight.

If you drink a lot of coffee, have a stressful life and dont work out often, it can actually get you to become fatter.

I work out everyday. I find that Coffee curbs my appetite and I feel more energetic for the most part. I'd rather do that than take supplements. I really want to get off of taking pills and powers.

What supplements and pills do you take now?
I curb my appetite by munching on something BEFORE I get hungry, usually every 2 hours. These arent meals, just handful of almonds or 2 sips of a protein shake. Ill drink green/black tea in the morning but dont take any caffeine after 2pm.

Right now I take that Cellucor HD and L-Carnitine. I take the Cellucor 2 hours before I work out and the L-Carnitine before I go to bed. Really.. it does its thing, but I don't want to keep spending money for that shyt. I find that when I eat small meals consisting of a lot of fruit and vegetables, I get the same results. I can feel my metabolism speeding up. The only thing fukking me up is the lack of sleep because of my schedule and thus the need to compensate by taking supplements. I started taking coffee a few days ago at work and I can feel the same shyt.

L-carnitine before bed?:dwillhuh:

Take L carnitine before your workout instead. I would definitely switch your thermogenic pills out with black coffee. If you are trying to cut fat, it is worth it to keep L-carnitine around, but I dont think you're currently using it properly.

No matter how well I eat, it doesnt replace the recovery benefits of sleep. Im not talking about energy, but talking about progress. Lack of sleep but a bunch of caffeine will still make your body hold on stuboornly to body fat. Those bodybugg gadgets actually record how many hours of REM sleep you get because sleep is such a large component of fat loss and muscle growth.

Is there something you can cut out in your social schedule to fit in a couple more hours of sleep? Are you able to fall asleep easily?

Chronic snacking = quickest way to gain weight

Coffee = a zero calorie appetite suppressant. As far as losing weight goes, coffee + 3 big meals >>>>>>> eating 8 times a day

Snacking only leads to weight gain if your snacks arent part of your preplanned caloric intake. If I eat 1700 calories a day, how will I get fatter if I split that up between three or between eight meals?

Caffeine may temporarily suppress appetite for some, not all, but most folks dont drink black coffee or can take large amounts of caffeine every day and fall asleep easily. You also cant take coffee with dinner or evening meals.

Frequent digestion raises your metabolism, along with helping keep your blood sugar stable so that you dont get those crazy hangry/fungry pangs.
