Yet here he is and now he can make his way.
Would have liked for him to have a higher draft position to throw a bit of weight around. Yet he has to get it out the mud and be malleable. Plus manage his idle time effectively. His opportunity to have Any time to coast was wasted already.

Again, no team that’s looking to win is playing him big minutes and giving him all these shots. Volume scorers who don’t pass and provide zero value other than scoring don’t have a lot of rope in the NBA these days.

I don’t think he has one assist so far in SL.

Just because you get blocks doesn't mean you're good defensively. If you solely hunt blocks(Hassan Whiteside) you can destroy the team defensive integrity.

That's not the case here though, he's generally speaking been pretty engaged on the defensive end in summer league.

He was ass based on watching games . I'm an Eastern alumni and watched several. I'm glad to see he's more engaged. I hope for the best for him.

He's doing this from the wing position tho. Not many terrible defenders play that position just blocking guys shots like that... at this level.

Somebody or some coaches got in his ear and said "we know you can score, matter of fact f*ck your scoring. If you rebound and show us something on the defensive end you're in the league." That hits a lot different, wakes him up, unlocks other parts of his game, and pushes out all the coddling and enabling he went though all throughout his youth. He's only 19. There might be a completely different player that has yet to be unlocked inside of him

He's learning and there's nothing wrong with that. I tell you one thing dude ain't afraid to shoot the ball at all. He's got BALLS and plays like the world is against him. I pray he's successful
