There are valid reasons for reparations for ppl who were under Jim Crow. (Redlining, Banking descrimination)

BUT... That should be separate from reparations for descendants of slaves, which should be priority

Nah, i don't think american tax payers have any obligations to foreign nations. At least not until they first prioritize the people of this country. Would be kinda messed up for Chile to get reparations before black americans. Our debt has been owed for much longer.

I didn't say who deserves it before who , but any group that been oppressed by the U.S deserves some kind of reparations. Black Americans deserve it the most , of course.

IF you keep about slavery, it stay about black americans, and we have a stronger argument for why we deserve the funds.
You try to include black codes, then you will have mexicans trying to lump themselves in for being discriminated against, and eventually ethinic groups of white immigrants too.
