So me and my girlfriend were talking about our past the other day. This topic came about because we had told each other that we will build our relationship off honesty. So eventually our sexual past came up... now how much does a woman's sexual past affect her in a relationship? I mean aside from her not having any STD's... it seems to be in the back of my head on how she ended up being with so many guys.
Does it really make a difference? Can a woman who has had her experience being single and being sexually active actually settle down one day?
If your number is higher than hers, then you shouldn't care. If it's much lower and it's bothering you, then maybe you should dump her and find someone else who is more like you sexually.

is it because she enjoys sex or is it because she has self esteem issues and uses sex to fill a void. If it's the former, stop being insecure, if it's the latter

Wow. You have it all backwards. A woman who
used to sleep around because she
used to have low esteem would be more likely to be faithful. She wouldn't have been sleeping around if it weren't for her esteem and because her esteem is much better now, she wouldn't want to do anything like that. A woman who slept around becasue she claimed she just enjoys sex is more likely to cheat bc she'll more than likely want different dcks and/or she is probably not being honest about why she was sleeping around. You can enjoy sex without being promiscuous, so that's not really a reson. She enjoys sex with lots of different people is the reason, which means she will get bored with you. Or she is still denying her other issues that she has which caused her to be promiscuous. Same with promiscuous males.

I think there's something emotionally/mentally wrong with people who sleep around.
Personally, I wouldn't be with a promiscuous person - it is beneath me.

It's so funny that you say this. Lots of women do not believe that male criminals can be reformed, but want people to forget about their pasts criminal and sexual included.
Ex. That nate parker "rape" that happened when he was a teen that he was cleared for.

But they think people should forgive/forget a woman who killed her baby bc she was "forced" to have it. Or Ludachris' baby's mother who was a deadbeat mom. Or that they used be a prostitue, abusive, drug addict, or have been to jail.
Of course it matters. Older cats keep telling you younger ones the deal but if ypu want to sign a ho to a long term guaranteed contract, don't be surprised when she doesn't live up to that contract.
When you say "older cats" I'm assuming 37-50. Guess what? A lot of them are still single and have never been married. So, they're either dating divorced single moms or "hoes". If those "older cats" have never been married, they are more than likely "hoes" themselves.
If you've been single for 35+ years, I doubt any of that stuff matters. All older people who are single and dating would be classified as hoes and "ran through", so they don't really care about stuff like that. Most are just trying to find someone so they won't die lonely.

Personally I'd date a woman with 20 bodies and 12 boyfriends in the past than a girl with 10 bodies and only dated one of em.
How does that make any sense?
A young person who has had 20 casual sex partners and 12 boyfriends clearly does not know how to be in a healthy monog relationship. There is something clearly wrong with her too. Like why are all of her relationships ending so quickly? Is she cheating? Is she dumping them bc she got bored quickly and wants new casual sex partners? Why would someone want that compared to a person of the same age who had 9 casual sex partners and 1 boyfriend?
How does that make sense?
Women can play that good girl role good as hell until they get what hey want. But keep thinking some number is going to get you a faithful life long partner.
