Well, I will be 34 soon and I feel better about who I am and where I am going than I ever did in my 20s. Maybe it's just maturity. Maybe it's knowing myself better but I don't fret about getting older at all.

I doubt your 20s sucked that much. I think with age you'll come to appreciate your youth a lot more as you look at it with a different perspective.

You can't change your past but you can use it to make better choices about your future.
As far as what you have to look forward to: it depends what you want. Traveling. Starting a family. Finding a wife. Whatever. There's nothing that automatically happens in your 30s. You have to make it happen.

Good luck.

I'm bout to turn 25, I've been wondering this as well. Do you 30+ oldheads still party? Or is life all about work and kids? That's what I'm worried about becoming.

I turn 29 next month. My 20s have been a huge disappointment. I've had some fun, of course. Got laid some. I have a decent job, and I'm in grad school, so things aren't so bad. Yet I feel like my 20s were a bit hard on me. I got continuously dissed by a bunch of women, lost my father, left 2 relationships that ended up with me being hurt, amassed 100k in school loan debt, etc. I'm hoping to god I have a better decade when I turn 30.

What can I look forward to when I hit my 30s?
I hope so, I'm in the same boat as you. My 20's were up and down.. more down than up... but when I was up I was really up there... tasted so much bread... then hit rock bottom. Why wait til 30 though? I just turned 29... let's see if I can change it a year early. I been working on this change for 4 years and I've learned from my mistakes.
One thing that I learned tht might be beneficial is that you are your habits and you are what you focus on. Whatever you focus on is what you're gonna see. If you feel like everyone is out to get you.. that's what you're gonna see.

It depends really where u live and the environment..

The work i do and the cost of living where i live force me to kill 70% of the party life..

but i do still have a good time, but all my boys are either married or move out of state..

Only problem u will have is if you are single and have no kids cause the majority of women u will see approach u majority of the time are women who have kids. U will run into alot of women with no kids, but here in L.A. these chicks normally have 3 other dudes on the side

30s are great, but you gotta make it great. You have more money and knowledge. I spent my mid 20s partying, fukking women and buying extravagant shyt that ended up being useless to me. I'd just work and party and wasted a lot of time doing that. Got on track in my late 20s and hit the ground running in my early 30s which is where I'm at now (33 :flabbynsick:)

I guess the only drop off is the nose hairs, hairline and just looking older in general.
