Nothing is growing in ketchup. Not enought o make you sick anyway. It’s already very acidic so refrigeration isn’t for food safety but more keeping the quality of the ketchup high. But it’s shelf life is super long regardless

It’s like saying you need to refrigerate honey. You don’t and never will need to
to add on, only thing ketchup does differently sitting out in room temp vs fridge is coloration due to oxidation. Its still safe to eat.

I remember growing up my uncle had honey in the fridge for the longest time, I doubt he ever even used it :dead: at least ten years sitting in there

Because they are getting used within days at a restaurant. Those bottles might only last a day or tbh.

Doesn’t matter. Those tips are exposed to everything in that atmosphere. Especially that small leftover on the tip.

I KNOW it’s supposed to be in the fridge. I’m a fully functioning adult capable of reading and understand simple concepts. It’s clear as day it’s supposed to be refrigerated

But I refuse to have ketchup in the fridge. Never have never will.
