I could write tons of long ass posts....
This is what we're surrounded by.
Imagine you take part in a small study group. Let's say..... 20 people. You're told it's a consensus thing and they'll pay you 500 bucks a day to answer some noninvasive questions as a group over three days. It'll take you 20-30 minutes a day, max. No brainer.
First day, you go and meet the other 19 people. You're all in a room with chairs at a table. Lots of cool folks of all makes and races. Couple of cute chicks. You all hit it off well. You hit it off with one of the girls. She laughs at your dumb jokes and shyt.
Guy who's gonna ask the questions comes in. Everyone sits. He explains the deal, tells some stale jokes to break the mood. Asks 20 questions. What's your favorite food and the like. Favorite sport, if you like sports. What time to you sleep. etc. Encourages discussions. We're all friends here.
Question 17: he holds up a blue card and asks you what color it is.
You: "

Blue!"
Everyone else at the same time: "

Red!"
You: "

"
Everyone else: "

"
Questions continue. Somebody in the back whispers "

nikka makin jokes"
Everybody leaves, girl cant wait to see you tomorrow, but gives you a kinda concerned look.
Day 2: more of the same. Question 11: what color is this card?
You: "

Blue!"
Everyone else at the same time: "

Red!"
Girl whispers "

are you okay? you aren't colorblind or anything, are you?"
A normal person would think about it. Might pass it off as being on some shyt like Punk'd and everybody's in on the joke but them. But they'll think about it. Stare at red lights. Look at their wardrobe. Hold up coke cans and ask his boys if it's red or not. Might get slick and ask them to pass them the red whatever, be smugly satisfied when they hand it to them. Cause its red.
Third day, though.... when that girl treats you a little differently, and you're waiting on the instructor to hold up that blue card? What's your answer gonna be? What are you gonna do if everyone hesitates just to see what you say?

that, my friends, is media in a nutshell.
