He deserves some blame, but I'm not gonna dump on him, cause the Pacers definitely look like the better team and are exposing a lot of the weaknesses the Knicks have. After Melo, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and arguably 6th (Lance) best players in this series are all on the Pacers.

Give Paul George another season or two to add to his scoring repetoire, fine tune all his other skills......and he'll be Lebron Jr/Diet Lebron/I Cant Believe Is Not Lebron/etc

Paul George's all around game is more valuable than Melo's one dimensional scoring. I rate players by their impact on the court. Not stats or skillset.

Thats a good perspective that often gets overlooked. Whether he likes it or not, hes gonna be a target for everyones ire, whether fair or not. The question is whether hes strong enough to shoulder it.

I mean I don't like putting all the blame on Melo, but then again I was never a fan of a CEO ( example:Steve Jobs ) taking all the credit for something or when a company does bad( The board usually looks to get rid of the CEO ) .

But if youre Melo & you realize that how you're playing isn't efficient or helping your team win, at some point don't you try to change how you play to get your teammates better & easier shots? If he's the leader of the team, talk to Woody, demand the ball in the high post & say the offense runs through me. He could set his team up EASILY, but he plays a selfish style of ball that doesn't win & doesn't care enough to try & switch it up

It's not solely on him, but he deserves a big share of blame b/c he's an indifferent defender, not a playmaker, one dimensional shot chucker, etc. nikkaz been making excuses for Melo for YEARS even making up shyt now like,"I see Indy as being a tougher matchup & beating NYK"

Nobody was saying if he & JR don't make shots they have no shot before the series started...that's some new shyt nikkaz created to save Melo from getting that work
