Yeah, you are a troll. I'll ignore you from now on.

Rose Fraudulent MVP year

24.1 PPG, 44% FG%, 33% from 3, 7.4 Assist, 3.4 Rebounds

Melo that year

25.6, 45&, 37% from 3, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assist

They're both horrible defenders

fukk him tho lets go back to this adult discussion.

You still think Harden is better than Melo? Harden is just as 1 dimensional as him... in fact I would say he is a little bit more 1 dimensional. Less efficient, doesn't rebound... plays just horrible defense...

He's also better than Curry and Paul George :aicmon:

I might also say he's better than Marc Gasol although you're making a point about impact if that's the case then Marc is like a top 8 player right now.

leading his team to 60+ wins though:ufdup: and a lot of your stats are inaccurate, but then again, most of your posts are always inaccurate, no need to argue with a multiple red dot poster :pachaha:

Harden and Melo are on the same level to me. I give Harden the edge because of his playmaking ability.

If you just look at stats Marc Gasol isn't that impressive. You have to watch him play to understand how great he is. What he provides on defense>>>>>>> Melo's individual scoring. His defense, play making and toughness has greater impact than anything Melo brings.

If Curry is healthy he is also better.

George's defense, playmaking, toughness> Melo's scoring. If George can become a more consistent scorer this wouldn't even be a debate.

Worst MVP winner ever, but he is still better than Melo.

Those aren't even his numbers the year he won the MVP.

25.0/7.7/4.1

where do yo go if youre the Knicks?

is this roster workable with a better coach? What needs to change?

They're up shyt creek without a paddle for the next two seasons, this is the Knicks team you will be seeing until 2015-2016. They have $60 million tied up between Amare, Melo and Chandler and unless they do some serious wheeling and dealing on trades I don't see how they get much better. Maybe buying picks in the draft.

Then again, if the Mavs could win a title with that roster, there's still hope.
before he got re-injured i was always bringing up in their games/season thread how the knicks had to utilize stoudemire more in the post (as their guards would go through stretches of just ignoring him and throwin up shots like nothing) and how it was imperative they used the reg season to establish him and his new/improved back2thebasket game as the official 2nd option behind Melo.

To me that shyt was of utmost importance b/c of a series just like this one. I'd felt the east was weak enough that they could get past the 1st round off that jump shooting stuff, but once you're in that 2nd round and your facing nothing but stingy defensive specialists and schemes (take ur pick of indy, chi or mia), them pull up jumpers stop feeling rhythmic and suddenly become a reactive struggle shot to what the defense is dictating. Low post scoring can remedy that by forcing the defense to react to you instead, and stat -as injury prone and clueless on D as he can be- is the only one on the team who can provide that dynamic to soften up the D. Yea JR can drive to the basket but thats just not in his nature and it just aint the same.

Once stat got 'hurt' again, i basically :snoop:. it was only a matter of time before the shots stopped falling and there'd be no other alternative but to "keep on shooting". More so, long term, the 60 million Melo/Stat/Chandler pairing may never get in sync if stat is too brittle to ever play more than 20 minutes a game and becomes just another background character to the jump shooting.

My Pops Forever RIP
I love how n!ggas praise Melo, but don't complain about this n!gga defense or how he stands around on offense when he doesn't have the ball.

U n!ggas knew beginning of the season the knicks didn't have a low post player and all they can do his shoot jump shots, but didn't complain when they beat a weak azz celtics team in the first round.

melo never winning a title

Breh, I'm the commander-in-chief of shytting on Melo for those two things.

That said, he's not the culprit for what has transpired. He's only going to be a part of the problem going forward if they never win.
