They have the 4th rank offense in the league. Dont see like much problem to me. A high efficient offense at a lower pace is always better than high efficient offense at a fast.

Its a huge compliment to the team when a squad can play two styles of play good. Its not Melo fault when the game pace changes and it doesnt benefit his style of play(not to say that Melo cant play at the pace). That falls moreso on the coaching staff and the substitution package he has on the floor that help dictate and compliment the players style of play he has on the floor. If that makes any senese. Case in point, Stat has always played well at a faster tempo, so when he's on the floor put him in a package that help compliment that tempo. Shumpert and Kidd really play that pace well, so send them on the floor with Stat and maybe Copeland since he's an active energy player.

In the playoffs, iso ball in the half court doesn't work for a couple reasons:
1. You're usually playing better defenses who can gameplay to beat you for an entire series.
2. You're iso players are bound to have an off shooting night or 2 in a series & it's tough to rely on your role players to play at a high level come playoff time.
Bottom line is this, Knicks won't have the opportunity to play alotta fast break ball in the playoffs & if you don't have good TEAM players who move the ball & can score in the half court you're fukked.
NYK's best players are iso players who don't move the ball well. In a 7 game series, the Knicks will be exposed.
The short term solution to this problem is to run more offensive sets (which won't happen b/c Woody has NEVER had an offensive system). Long term is to amnesty Melo.

the refs don't Like the way he barks at them you can tell because he gets called for the most silly offensive fouls and ticky tack defensive calls I've ever seen a star get .
