What ever helps you get thru the day is all that matters.

If you're talking about sitting quietly & trying to clear your mind then no, that's not true Meditation.

It takes some years of discipline in thought control to be able to enter into complete Vacancy Of Mind.

There's a reason people who've learned to Meditate don't even question the existence of a Higher Intelligence. Because what you witness while sitting in the "Tomb Of God" is beyond words...

Anybody can learn to do it... few ever care to actually seek God... but those who've seeked God can attest to the saying of "Seek & ye shall find."

I have a question why is it that women are willing to trust and give control to God easier than men it seems?

because in the system of patriarchy, women are not conditioned to question anything/be inquisitive.

Men as a whole are taught to be independent and blaze our own path in route to becoming a "man". Religion in modern times has lessened in importance on that path and only becomes significant in a mans life when he is settling down and creating a stable domestic life. Basically a lot of men don't even bother going to church or being active until they have a wife and kids and are trying to create a religious base in the household.

Even in the days of our grandparents, our grandfathers on saturday nights were more likely to be gambling, drinking, racing with the boys down at the juke joint instead of going to bed early for a early rise Sunday morning. Very few men took the path of the cloth and even fewer did it a young age.

Women on the other hand are conditioned to fall in line with "traditional" ideas and morals in order to be a satisfactory mate/caregiver for a husband (yes even today in our post feminist revolution times) . Religion is still very much considered a treasured "traditional" moral. Thats why first thing a "loose" woman will do when shes done with the thotting is take her ass back to church and start spamming FB with religious scriptures.

Been asking myself this since my youth. Sometimes I'm 50/50. Sometimes i do , others i dont. I'm not necessarily religious but just open-minded. I read alot. Lately though with a recent situation and my temper. Feels like their needs to be. *sighs*.
