I think all three of the albums, with maybe the third being a slight exemption, sound too dated to truly call classic, however we are qualifying that indefinable word.
They are good albums, even great, in spots, but Lord Willin suffers from too much Neptunes, and too many for the label tracks, (ode to weed, and a cheesy JD record, Faith Evans feature), not to mention, even the stronger tracks, (not great ones), but When Was The Last Time, haven't really aged well, and sound very much stuck in an era, with lower tier Neptunes beats and mundane lyrics. They really shine on the Intro, Virginia, Grindin, Young Boy, Comedy Central, I'm Not You. Unfortunately, this is the fault of the labels and seeking the mainstream success, which ironically was only found in Grindin.
Hell Hath, to me, is very much the same, I never liked the production much, though it had it's moments.
