Nah. Stopped going when I was like 12.

Couldn't find the answers I was looking for and ended-up finding them on my own.

Besides, I'm an Introvert. Me and large groups don't get along.

Get more out of theology just talking one-on-one with various different religious people and researching theological viewpoints/history.

Atheism stunted my growth for a minute.

Glad I gave that up.​

Best thing I ever did was drop church and religion. I felt like it was stunting my growth.
With that being said because it didn't work for me that doesn't mean it can't work for certain people
Some people just need some type of guidance in life

I don't go because it works in some kind of way

I would say my understanding of philosophy and human nature is more advanced than anything I could learn in church

I don't even "believe" in the Bible... as a literal textbook. Its great for poetic meanings, tho.

I go because the same songs we sing today, the slaves were singing wondering if they were gonna make it. Wondering if we were gonna make it.

We made it.

But I still hold certain principles that I learned from it. I think kids should definitely go.

No I don't and never felt the need to. What's the point? Why do you need to go to church? It's bad enough we gotta work 5 days a week, with church that's even more dedication to another obligation

I just feel like you can practice being religious on your own with your family. Say a quick prayer and treat and help people
