waking up 5 days a week to work 9 to 5, to then be paid 12 times a year. does it scare you? if yes why? if no why?
Even if I won the lotto, I'd still "work" to keep my mind occupied. Whether its owning my own business or whatever, I can't see myself just sitting idle.
what cities in the world have you visited outside of the continent you live in?Job security, guaranteed raises, good benefits, tier 1 retirement plan, like minded coworkers, short commute, in one of the best cities in the world? I'm good with it.
All the "start your own business" thing is good. But you still have to work, and your "boss" won't be ONE person, it will be MANY people because you have to manage customer relations and employee relations because its YOUR business.
Imagine how scary it is to be old as dirt, expect a high paying wage in a career that is being outsourced, phased out or overrun with young people who work faster for less. Job security for old people is frightening. They just want to get to retirement but the company doesn't want to pay that so they'll find a way to fire you before you retire

This is also another reason why we're seeing the "age of the entrepreneur" take hold for younger people.
You got that right. Gotta master a side hustle in 2014 because your employer wants the most skill for the least amount of money and that last crash showed employers that they can do more with lessThis is also another reason why we're seeing the "age of the entrepreneur" take hold for younger people.
