I have, a lot, especially at the beginning but he kept at it and now I like him but all my reasons for not taking it anywhere are still there
Listen I want you guys to agree that if a guy puts himself in this situation he's just trying his luck and it's not the girl's fault when he finally realises she meant it when she said it's not going to happen
Well in that case it sounds to me as if he knows what he's doing. You're going to give in evetually and than use the age old female excuse "it just happened"

Well in that case it sounds to me as if he knows what he's doing. You're going to give in evetually and than use the age old female excuse "it just happened"

It's not MIGHT it's 90% certain. I wouldn't have minded if he were the type to accept help because he's got bags of potential but I offered it once (on a job app) and he looked at me like. So I can already foresee the frustration on both sides. A guy who refuses to accept help and a girl who wants the guy to achieve his best and sees help (practical and otherwise) as standard (whether or not he's already "made" it)
If we did end up together we'd be that couple who do amazingly well in the bedroom but just drift apart otherwise, why do that to him? Why do that to me?

But 4 years isnt that big of a difference. When you're 34 he will be 30. No one would care. Everyone doesnt derive happiness from money. So it sounds like he either doesnt care about money...or just sees you as a come up.
You guys would only "drift apart" because of your preconceived notions of a man and womans role in a relationship.
Obviously you're getting some sort of enjoyment or excitement outta talking to someone you dont plan on dating, although thats what they want. The fact that you keep flirting with them is foul. Theres a stance between being a "bytch" and "flirting" that you could take. I dont know the ins and outs of your guys conversations...but as it stands you're not doing him any favors. The only one thats enjoying this right now is you.
