Tim is borderline top 5 and for people not thinking he's on that level then they are either not fans of the game or are just haters. They system didn't make Tim he made the system. Anyone who looked at basketball while Duncan was in college knew he was a once in generation player and that he would have success in the pros as long as he wasn't injured. Just imagine how insane his numbers would be if he would have left college after his freshman year and been the top pick which he would have been from his first year on. I wish we could have gotten just one season where Tim said fukk it and said he was going for his. I think he could have averaged a 30/15/4 at least once during his prime. But he was all for the team and sacrificed numbers (which are still insane though) for the sake of the team. No way Duncan couldn't have led the league in scoring rebounds and blocks in his prime if he wanted to. And it's a shame he never got a Defensive player of the year award either. Even though he's acclaimed on that end he's still underrated for how good he was/is defensively and that's the reason why I would take him over a lot of these players who get rated above him.
