The whole crypto market is based on buying before others, selling before others, and basically trying to outsmart other investors. You'll hear a lot of people saying "We're still early." That means the early investors are going to make a profit in the later stage when more people invest, but those late investors are going to need to find even later investors to make money, and on it goes. So it's valuable to keep something secret until everyone you want is invested, and then start the hype train so you can dump your bags.
