They can do all of that. They can do whatever the hell they want with their music. If Jay-Z feels like he wants to make a metal album then I say go ahead. Is it going to be a good look for them 90%? Hell no. Most of the time it is going to be horrible, but if they want to go and head into the studio and churn out some hot garbage they should have the ability to do that. Doesn't mean I'm going to listen to it tho.

Look man, I listened to Pink Friday three times. I gave her a chance with that album and I thought it was complete ass. Just straight up garbage all around. I listened to Roman Reloaded one time and it was, and still is the absolute worst hip hop album I have heard this year. I'm not even exaggerating when I say that album gave me a headache and had me mad the entire time I was listening to it.
But, I couldn't care less what she is going to do in the future with her music, neither should you, or anyone else unless they are really die hard fans of her. Most people on this site and most people criticizing her aren't her fans, and if they were at one point it was a long time ago. For people to be sitting up her telling her what she can and can't do just sounds stupid. An artist should never be boxed in and limited to what the fans thinks he/she has to do. These 'rules' are made up by fickle fans. Nicki recognizes the lane she is it. It just happens to be the lane that chases whatever the next hottest thing is and the shelf life there is limited.

This ain't the 80's where selling out or crossing over is viewed as a deadly sin. These rappers these days are about building their "brand", so to them doing a song with Justin is just widening their audience.
Am I a fan of it...no, but its finda funny cuz the song with Justin & Big Sean is getting a lot of spins on Hot 97 so if u gonna do it then atleast make it hot.
