Exactly. You don't know who you will meet volunteering. That's why it's always good to be on your p's and q's. Don't be too pushy, but just do it right by networking. That's how I got my second job.

All of that is good, but honestly volunteer work for me is about heart. I like to do it because I'm contributing to something more important than myself and I'm able to see how my contribution is positively effecting other people.
