Why do people think it was Mike's call to extend Tua and not the front office? I dont think Mike had power like that but I could be wrong.

His time ran its course. His teams were way too finess and lacked the toughness to actually win. Could be a decent/good OC

Harbaugh would be a fool to take this job after having stability for 18 seasons. The Dolphins have not had a head coach that lasted more than 5 years.

They 100% are. He might be there next year as the cost is too great to move on but they can cut him after 2026... it'll hurt but would be somewhat manageable. Unless he's locker room poison he's gonna be there 2026

Either way his number is gonna be on the cap next year no matter what they do. That said if the Dolphins are willing to absorb a little more pain in '26, Tua's dead cap in '27 would actually be slightly less if he's a post June 1 cut this year than if they cut him next year.

Dan Quinn needs to make that move. He's already got Jayden upset for letting go of Kilff. Upgrading to McDaniel will fix that.

Based on the Ravens statement on getting someone who can help Lamar they should be aggressively pursuing him. His Minter as HC, McDaniel as OC.

Only question is if a team like say the Titans would be willing to make him HC and he turns down being OC elsewhere.

Why would Reid go get this guy? Reid is supposed to be an offensive guru. That would be like Belichick hiring Rex Ryan to be his DC.

Yeah, he's not going outside his coaching tree for a guy who runs a different system and will have to call plays. Unless Pat asks for him and Andy knows he's stepping down after next season it ain't happening. Kafka from the Giants would be the guy he brings in if Nagy is gone.
