I don't see him going to any team that has the head coach who calls plays. That'd be hustling backwards

Ie, Chiefs Niners
Especially the Niners. From the way Purdy was talking Kyle has every lil detail planned out in his plays. I think he said he cant even call audibles, he said the play is designed with a safety valve or some shyt.

It's one thing for Sirianni, Campbell, Big Harbaugh, etc to have a certain vision and outline for how they like an offense run but ultimately they let their OCs call the game.

Makes no sense to go back to Kyle, and even if Reid has an intervention this offseason about needing to shake things up and go outside his tree/bubble, that's not gonna result in such a drastic step back, especially not at 68 years old with 3 rings :russ:

My thoughts exactly.

McDaniels isn’t really a bad coach per se he just got shackled to Tua
In terms of scheme and offense I agree, Dolphins always seemed to have people open downfield and they had a great rushing attack.

However, that's only part of the job. What about the team discipline? He's gotta explain that

Troy Aikman made the call.

I'm convinced that Aikman is Gary Owen's daddy.

Why would Reid go get this guy? Reid is supposed to be an offensive guru. That would be like Belichick hiring Rex Ryan to be his DC.
Andy Reid hasn’t been an offensive guru in years if you peep our games…

the dolphins finished the season way better than folks thought it was going to be.

but honestly it feel like Mike offense was figured out when the nfl DCs went to that 2 high safety coverage
Tua wasnt hitting Tyreek and Waddle deep anymore. yeah they somewhat adjusted and started running Achane more and had to go on these long sustained drives

He was limited with a QB who also had to avoid being touched. They literally had to keep a pass option close to the LOS as a release valve for Tua every pass play. They literally couldn't run the same offense as before.

If he doesn't get a HC job there's going to be a WAR for him to be the OC between KC, Bills, Eagles, Lions, and Ravens.

My Father in Heaven
This dude deserves to be a coach- “but the players didn’t listen to him”- that happens to literally every dolphins coach and it starts at the top with that awful ownership- Miami is too lavish and expensive everyone who goes there messes around or just trying to get an easy retirement check, Campbell the only one who ever got a dolphins team to fully buy in within the last decade and half- it’s not the coaches. Like Flores, team never quit on him despite all the reports and played their butts off despite injuries and incompetence from the front office- how is that possible if he’s not a “leader of men”?
