it's dope it's on the short end and some things don't mesh as well as the others but otherwise it's still a solid listen from dom

represent though :ohlawd:

all GHS was dom's best lyrical work but the yellow album had some of dom's best production. standout tracks from both of those were intermission from watts and my type of party

Im feelin this new Dom Kennedy. Every track is dope except for Lemonade due to a weak hook but Dom killed the verses and the beat is dope. I feel like the project is probably is most focused and consistent since 'The Yellow Album'.

I wasn't a big fan of 'Get Home Safely', I didn't care for the minimal left production on it although it was a few gems on there like "Black Bentleys".

This album reminds me of 'FutureStreet/DrugSounds'. Very few features. Just all feel good music. shyt to ride to. shyt to chill to. shyt to smoke to. every beat is A1 & Dom is in rare form lyrically.

What really sets this album apart is the seriousness of it. Dom has matured. He's come into his own now. you won't find a silly track like "pretty girls with the long hair" on here. Doms humor is intact but definitely more subdued this time around.

'By Dom Kennedy' might be the Lemiert Park Legend's best project to date. Is it better than 'To Pimp a butterfly'? I think it's debatable. Is it better than 'Mailbox Money'? Maybe. Depends on who u ask. the point is that this is the project that's gonna put Dom in the conversation with the AAA artists and he did it by making an excellent album.

Just wish there were some tracks like judgement day, locals only. I do agree this project is a lot more concise and focused than GHS, we see why he had his son on the back cover. Lets also remember Dom is a lot more mature than he was on FTWWL 2 and the Yellow Album.

Y'all tripping. This Dom riding.

And lemonade is cool... He made it for his son, the hook wasn't suppose to be elaborate.

If he would have never released respresent it would have been better for the album. I'm tired of it

Definitely stronger to me on the second half. But the first half growing on me. Not my favorite Dom cd. But it's still good.
