Overall, its decent....but it wasn't worth the 2 year wait. This is the 2nd straight project from Dom that left me unsatisfied. GHS had some gems though...

The Yellow Album is the last great album Dom ever made...its probably his best. The replay value is still high and it had some of his best production to date. Ever since then...he's just been phoning it in dropping lackluster shyt. I agree with the talk of Dom regressing....He barely raps now. nikka sounds like a narrator reading a fukking. book. I also haven't liked some of his choice beats lately...you got a monster like THC that you done work with before that doesn't get much placements on the sidelines and yet he chooses not to work with him. They're chemistry was top notch....I just don't get it.

Maybe the breh that was saying how he has a bunch of Yes men/dikkriders around him is true.

i'm in the minority i guess because i thought GHS was an upgrade from YA. but i agree with the consensus that this is lite.

I also though ghs was better than yellow album

for real, can't believe so many people on here weren't feelin Get Home Safely. shyt is damn near classic to me. definitely his best and most complete record. so many gems on there. shyt stayed in my rotation for at least a year straight.

Almost 2 years later and I'm finally giving this a proper spin. All the negative opinions kept me away at first, only song I had heard was 2Bad. But I'm a huge Dom fan, so I had to come back to this project. I definitely feel like this is one you have to let grow on you, so you can appreciate it as time goes by.
