Get home safely is a dope project but he def took too long, that shyt ended up dropping like a year late and it was in the winter and that last shyt was a dud

Yeah, he took way too long to drop Get Home Safely even though it was good. However, Dom's inactivity over the last few years has killed his momentum. He has the same issue Lloyd Banks has. He doesn't seem motivated enough to drop anything new but maybe its for the best.

It was a torture trying to get through his last 2 projects. Atleast we still got the classics to go back to.

When did he lose the motivation though? 2014? 15? Because early on his career he seemed motivated as hell. Rejected major deals to stay indie shows major motivation. Maybe he really just enjoys that father shyt which is totally cool

yeah he really did. he had something going. He had fans, was staying indie and had respect from a lot of rap nikkas in the game. nikka fukked up all his momentum.

Rick Ross fukked with him heavy....it woulda been cool to see how things would had been if he joined MMG. I know he had a bettter shot of blowing up than Stalley did (no disrespect to him) but Dom had way more appeal. :wow:

I think it was around the time he was working on Get Home Safely tbh. I think being a father played a huge role, as well as age (getting older) imo.

Its hard to pinpoint exactly where he lost the hunger.

Basically. I'm pretty sure he wanted to focus on being a father.

dont know if its the same as Banks cause he had alot of success coming right into the rap game being under 50 and he can always tap into his market when he does decide to drop music but Dom could've been pulling a Curren$y rn by being a major underground rapper
