I can't neg that bozo again. Lakers steamrolled in 2019-20 before the season got suspended.

They were cruising last season too until LeBron and AD both got injured. First or second place in the west until they went down.

I really think we'd be at least Suns like to start the season if we brought everyone back :manny:

Yea some of the guys could be trash at times but at least they knew their roles :ehh:

Lets hope they find some consistency :francis:

If the Lakers are healthy going into the playoffs, I think they'll win the chip....There's really no dominant team in the league.

I know it's still early...but Lebron shooting 79% at the FT line is a huge positive.....He was 8 for 9 vs Indy and hit 4 for 4 in the 4th qt.

I’m not sure what you’ve seen to make this statement

Maybe I’m too optimistic but I think they figure this shyt out and end up as the 3rd seed
That won't happen as long as the Warriors, Suns and Jazz don't suffer a significant injury; Mavs will probably finish ahead of the Lakers too. 5th seed is probably the best they can do. I don't think winning regular season games will be a priority for them anyway. Well, it shouldn't be.

When LA gets healthy (hopefully) and gets some games under their belt I think players 4 thru 9, specifically Monk, Ellington, THT, Reaves will settle into their roles and gain more confidence. Monk/Ellington putting up 31 pts (11-18 fg, 7-12 from 3) in a hostile environment was very encouraging. Most people expected the Lakers to lose this game. No AD, Back to Back, Indy with 1 day of rest,...Yet, LA won the game despite Melo/Russ shooting 9 for 28 fg......And let's not forget about Nunn. He's a legit 15 ppg scorer who shoots a good percentage across the board (46/36/88 for his career and 48/38/93 last season)

Of course, the Lakers are not a finished product. They still need to make a couple of acquisitions to improve the defense, shooting, and team balance.....The great thing about the Lakers is that they don't need another star, just 1 or 2 quality role players...but more importantly, they need Bron/AD/Russ to stay healthy.

I would not be shocked if at some point LA cuts DJ and re-signs Mark Gasol.
