I suspect THT will be traded next week as soon as he's eligible.
Lakers should've let Russ stat pad this season to increase his trade value. But letting him get exposed like this guarantees he won't be moved.

To be clear I don't think Russ is as big a problem as everyone is making him out to be. Outside of LeBron the team stinks. My only point is 4 game win streak doesn't mean much when it's against those teams.

Let's see how the season ends. There are still trades to be made and players to return from injury.
Posters were talking shyt last season about how Curry was going to send Lebron home prior to the play-in game. We saw how that turned out, and Bron/AD weren't even playing at 80%...Counting Lebron/Lakers out would be stupid.
If they make the playoffs and are healthy they can give anyone a tough series.
But they aren't winning a chip or even making a conference Finals carrying Russ bum ass.
If they trade him for even a league average player, AD comes back and plays well, and Nunn returns and is clicking then maybe I could see the light.
But they need to trade Russ. If I'm Pelinka I don't even care who I get in return.

Can we wait and see what this team does prior to the trade deadline before burying them?... I understand things look bleak at the moment, but 1 or 2 trades can change everything....Russ has 47m coming off the books after next season....I think a couple of teams will be looking to move contracts and clear some cap space....Even if we can't move Russ we still have a couple of players that will draw interest from teams looking to rebuild (Monk,THT,Nunn)
